Seven regions of Ukraine were left without power following Russian attacks
Power outages have occurred in several regions of Ukraine as a result of Russian attacks on energy infrastructure facilities. Consumers in the Mykolaiv, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipropetrovsk, Kherson, Odesa, Sumy, and Kharkiv regions are currently without power.
This was reported by the Ministry of Energy.
In the Sumy region, one energy sector employee was injured as a result of a strike on an energy facility. He is receiving the necessary medical care.
Also in the Kharkiv region, a Russian drone attacked a vehicle carrying energy sector workers. Fortunately, there were no fatalities in this incident.
Energy companies report that emergency crews are working around the clock. Repair work is ongoing 24/7 to restore power to all consumers as quickly as possible.
The Ministry of Energy noted that no planned power restrictions are currently expected. At the same time, citizens are urged to follow updates on the official websites of regional power companies.
This afternoon, April 30, Russian troops attacked the suburbs of Dnipro with strike drones. The shelling caused a fire, resulting in one fatality and one injury.
As a reminder, Russia attacked Odesa overnight: there are casualties and damage.
Also, during the previous Russian attack on Kyiv, one of the missiles exploded near a construction site belonging to the SAGA Development company in the Pochaina district. Six construction workers were injured as a result of the incident.
In Kyiv, 60 cars were burned in a massive Russian attack, and two security guards were killed.
