A two-year-old child was killed and others were injured in Kyiv as a result of an attack by the Russian Federation
In Kyiv, a two-year-old girl died as a result of a Russian attack after being injured when an enemy drone crashed in the Obolon district. In total, five people have been injured in the capital since the morning of August 30; one of them was hospitalized.
“A two-year-old girl who was injured in Obolon when an enemy UAV crashed has died. Five people have been injured in the capital since this morning. Medical personnel provided on-site treatment to four of them. One injured person—an 18-year-old girl—was hospitalized,” Klitschko wrote.
Russian troops have been attacking Kyiv with jet-powered drones for the third consecutive day. As a result of the strikes, fires, falling debris, and damage to civilian infrastructure have been reported in the capital.
Earlier, Klitschko reported on the consequences of the attack in several districts of the capital.
“In the Podilsky district, a drone also struck a non-residential building. In the Obolonsky district, a drone fell in an open area. A nearby café was damaged,” the mayor noted.
After the drone crashed, medics provided assistance to an injured child, but it was later reported that the child had died.
Thus, the Russian attack on Kyiv resulted in the death of a young child and injuries to four other people.

In the Chernihiv region on August 28, three people were injured as a result of Russian attacks. Two women suffered acoustic trauma after an FPV drone struck the car in which they were traveling. Another man was injured in an attack on a civilian facility.
Russian troops attacked Kherson with drones in the morning, killing one man and wounding two others. The Korabelny and Dniprovsky districts of the city were hit.
On the night of August 29, Russian forces carried out a massive attack on Ukraine, using missiles and 267 attack drones.
In the Odesa region, one person was killed and three others were injured as a result of the enemy strike. The attack also caused eight trucks carrying food supplies to catch fire.
On the afternoon of August 28, Russian troops attacked Ukraine with seven “Banderole” missiles and 96 attack drones. Most of the drones were jet-powered, and the enemy directed a significant portion of them toward Kyiv.
