The number of victims in Kyiv following the Russian Federation's attack has already reached 16

The number of people injured in Kyiv as a result of the Russian attack has risen to 16. Among them are two children. One person is known to have died.

 

The number of people injured in Kyiv as a result of the Russian attack continues to rise. As of 8:15 p.m., 16 people are known to have been injured. “There are currently 16 injured in the capital. Among them are two children,” Klitschko wrote on Telegram. According to him, rescue workers and city services continue to work at the scene.

Earlier reports indicated 14 people injured in the capital. Among them were also two children. In addition, one fatality had been reported. Thus, within a few hours, the number of injured has increased by two more people.

The consequences of the attack are still being assessed

Information about the consequences of the Russian strike may change as rescue and search operations continue. City services are inspecting damaged buildings and other structures, while medical personnel are providing assistance to the injured.

Authorities are urging Kyiv residents not to ignore air raid sirens and to remain in shelters while the threat of new strikes persists. The final number of casualties and the extent of the damage will be reported once emergency services have completed their work. This was announced by Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko.

As a reminder, fires broke out at industrial facilities in the Kyiv region due to an attack by the Russian Federation.

Russia also launched a massive attack on Kyiv, killing and wounding civilians.
