A restricted security zone has been established around the Kremlin gas station in Moscow
The Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation has established a security zone covering 6,400 square meters around the Kremlin gas station on Volkhonka Street in central Moscow, prohibiting drone flights, commercial activities, and tourism in the area.
According to an order by FSO Director Dmitry Kochnev, mass events, the construction of hotels, shopping and entertainment centers, bomb shelters, and the placement of advertisements are also prohibited within the zone. All utility lines must be laid no closer than 30 meters from the site’s boundaries.
The Kremlin gas station was built in the 1930s; it has the status of an architectural landmark and is the only operating gas station in the center of the Russian capital. The facility is a restricted-access site and is intended to serve official and government vehicles.
