In Russia, a warehouse complex owned by one of Putin's friends was hit by drones

On the morning of July 20, in the Domodedovo urban district of the Moscow Region, a massive fire broke out at the “Southern Gate” (“Yuzhnye Vrata”) logistics complex near Moscow as a result of a drone attack. According to investigators from the publication “Agency,” this hub, with a total area of 600,000 square meters, is owned by the developer Instone Development, 84% of whose shares have been owned by the “Talent and Success” fund since the beginning of 2026. 

The founder of this fund is cellist Sergei Roldugin, a close friend of Vladimir Putin, and the head of the board of trustees is the Russian dictator himself.

The “Southern Gate” industrial park is one of the largest warehouse facilities in the region, with space used by major companies and marketplaces, including Wildberries, “Leman Pro,” and Alibaba Group. According to local authorities, seven people were injured in Domodedovo as a result of the strike and the subsequent fire.

Over the past day, the Russian army lost another 1,600 troops, two tanks, eight armored fighting vehicles, 82 artillery systems, three multiple launch rocket systems, and six air defense systems.
