An air raid alert was issued in Romania due to a Russian attack
On the afternoon of July 23, an air raid alert was issued in the Romanian county of Tulcea, which borders Ukraine, due to a Russian attack on the Odesa region.
Residents of settlements along the Danube received the warning.
Through the RO-Alert system, people were urged to immediately proceed to shelters, basements, or take cover behind two walls. The estimated duration of the threat was 90 minutes.
During Russian strikes on Ukrainian Danube ports, Romania regularly issues air raid alerts in border areas. Debris from Russian drones has been found on Romanian territory on multiple previous occasions.
