An Ozon warehouse in Taganrog was damaged by a missile strike

On September 15, an Ozon marketplace warehouse was damaged in Taganrog, Rostov Oblast, Russian Federation. According to preliminary reports, the facility was damaged as a result of a missile attack.

According to authorities, extensive damage was reported, and several fires broke out.

“As a result of the missile strike, the following were damaged: windows in two apartment buildings and three private homes, an educational institution, a commercial building, a gas pipeline (which did not affect life-support functions), warehouses belonging to agricultural enterprises, a grocery store, and the ‘Ozon’ warehouse,” the statement reads.

As a reminder, the Ozon warehouse near Saratov was completely destroyed by fire following a drone attack.

Prior to this, Ukrainian drones attacked the Ozon logistics center in Saratov. The company confirmed the strike, which was the first to target warehouses of Russian marketplaces after a nearly 10-day hiatus.

Ukrainian strikes on Russian territory are undermining Vladimir Putin’s political authority, but do not pose an immediate threat to his power. According to Politico, Volodymyr Zelenskyy hopes to increase the Kremlin’s economic and political losses in order to force Putin to take a diplomatic resolution to the war more seriously.
