Ukraine produces 10 million drones a year; that number will rise to 20 million — Zelenskyy
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that Ukraine is already producing about 10 million drones per year and plans to increase that figure to 20 million in collaboration with international partners. He made this announcement during the celebrations marking Ukrainian Statehood Day in Kyiv.
The head of state recalled that his earlier announcement of the intention to produce 1 million drones per year had been met with skepticism both in Ukraine and abroad.
“I remember when I first publicly announced the state’s plan: 1 million drones a year. There was a lot of skepticism everywhere: both at home and abroad. And now we can say: we’re producing 10 million drones a year. 10 million, and soon it will be 20 million,” Zelenskyy said.
The president emphasized that the increase in production will take place in cooperation with international partners.
