Lesya Nikityuk responded to rumors about her wedding to military officer Dmytro Babchuk. The TV host clarified whether they had indeed officially become husband and wife, putting an end to the ongoing speculation.

 

Ukrainian TV host Lesya Nikityuk revealed details of her personal life and clarified whether she had indeed married military officer Dmytro Babchuk, with whom she is raising their son, Oskar.

Recently, the celebrity appeared as a guest on her colleague Andriy Bednyakov’s show “Where’s the Lie?” While introducing the guest, the host unexpectedly revealed that during their long separation, Lesya had managed to “get married and have a child.” So he couldn’t resist offering his congratulations.

“I wanted to congratulate you in person on having a baby. Not through these phone screens, but by looking into your eyes. Congratulations! I know how much you wanted this. I was genuinely very happy when I heard the news. And that’s great—I’m also glad you got married. You have a wonderful husband,” Bednyakov said.

However, the 38-year-old host was quick to correct him. Nikityuk emphasized that she is still engaged. The thing is, after getting engaged to her fiancé, military officer Dmytro Babchuk, she’s postponing the wedding until better times—when there’s no war. Nevertheless, right now they’re both happy raising their little son, Oscar, who was born last summer.

“Not officially. We want a proper wedding. And just to take some photos… They’ve even set up a registry office at my house, but…” explained Lesya, who is engaged.

As a reminder, Lesya Nikityuk’s fiancé underwent surgery.
