Video: Russians struck a facility in the Zhytomyr region; there are casualties
On September 23, Russian troops attacked a facility in the Zhytomyr community. Two people were injured in the strike, and a fire broke out on the premises.
According to rescue workers, two people were injured. They received the necessary medical care. The strike caused a fire to break out on the factory grounds. Units of the State Emergency Service extinguished the fire and completed cleanup efforts following the Russian attack.
In addition to extinguishing the fire, rescue workers used specialized equipment to dismantle and remove the damaged metal structures. Work at the site of the strike continued throughout the evening and night.
The city’s emergency services and volunteers from the Ukrainian Red Cross rapid response team were also involved in clearing up the aftermath of the attack.

On the night of September 23, Russian forces attacked Ukraine with 161 strike drones of various types. Among them were 82 jet-powered UAVs. As of 8:00 a.m., air defense forces had destroyed or neutralized 119 enemy drones and three additional “Banderole”/“Dan-T” drones.
Since the evening of September 22, Russian troops have attacked two districts in the Dnipropetrovsk region more than 10 times. The occupiers used drones and dropped aerial bombs; one person was injured as a result of the attacks.
We should add that drones attacked the temporarily occupied Donetsk and Luhansk regions overnight.
As a reminder, Russia struck Kharkiv on the night of September 23, resulting in one fatality.
On the morning of September 23, air raid alerts were issued in Kyiv and several regions due to the threat of UAVs.
