Video: Hundreds of drones attacked 20 regions of Russia and occupied Crimea
On the night of September 17, explosions were heard in various regions of Russia amid a large-scale attack by Ukrainian drones. The temporarily occupied Crimea was also targeted, with reports of attacks in 20 regions of the Russian Federation.
The Russian Ministry of Defense confirmed that its air defense forces attempted to repel a large-scale attack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces during the night.
The Russian Ministry of Defense, as is customary, did not disclose exactly how many drones Ukraine deployed during the airstrike, but it is clear from the statement that the number was in the hundreds.

According to eyewitnesses, loud explosions were heard in Rostov, Russia, and a massive fire broke out.
According to the latest reports, a military airfield was likely targeted by the Ukrainian Armed Forces this time. In addition, a secondary explosion occurred on the facility’s grounds shortly afterward.
Information is also circulating online that another target for the Defense Forces last night was the “Slavneft-YANOS” oil refinery in Yaroslavl, Russia.
It’s important to understand that this is the largest refinery in northern Russia and one of the country’s leaders in terms of crude oil refining capacity. Its refining capacity is approximately 15 million metric tons of crude oil per year.
Meanwhile, Russia launched missile strikes on Zaporizhzhia, and there are casualties.
Earlier, Russia struck Odesa and damaged a high-rise building.
On September 15, a Russian drone strike was recorded in Kyiv’s Svyatoshynsky District. Black smoke is rising from the site.
