Video: Ukrainian troops liberated Seredne in the Donetsk region without suffering any casualties
The village of Seredne in the Kramatorsk District of Donetsk Oblast has been liberated from Russian occupiers. Ukrainian military officials reported that the Ukrainian side suffered no casualties during the operation, and the enemy was pushed back across the Nitrus River.
A video of the sweep operation carried out by the mechanized battalions “Adolfovna’s Grandchildren,” “KASSTA,” and “Fireflies” as part of Operation “Vivaldi,” was published on the Telegram channel of the 66th Separate Mechanized Brigade named after Prince Mstislav the Brave.
“As a result of a carefully planned, multi-stage operation, the brigade’s units were able to eliminate the enemy’s manpower in Seredne and liberate the settlement. The ground operation was carried out by infantrymen from the 1st Mechanized Battalion ‘KASSTA’ and the 2nd Mechanized Battalion ‘Adolfovna’s Grandchildren.’ Soldiers of the 3rd Mechanized Battalion “Fireflies” carried out successful assault operations south of the town, pushing the enemy back across the Nitrus River,” the 66th Mechanized Brigade reported.
It was also noted that Ukrainian forces suffered no casualties during the liberation of Seredne.
“As a result of thorough reconnaissance and concentrated fire support from artillery and unmanned aerial systems, we were able to suppress the enemy’s firepower, and infantrymen from mechanized battalions destroyed enemy personnel with surprise strikes supported by a tank battalion,” the statement said.
Earlier, Russia attacked Izyum with KAB missiles; among the victims was a two-month-old infant.
On September 10, in Kyiv’s Svyatoshynsky District, a drone crashed in an open area in the woods near a shopping center. According to preliminary reports, there was no fire and no casualties.
In the Solomyanskyi district of Kyiv, an enemy drone struck the roof of a four-story business center. Emergency services were dispatched to the scene to investigate the circumstances and address the aftermath of the incident.
