In particular, the Moscow Oil Refinery was hit, causing a fire, as was a well-known shopping and entertainment complex.
Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin stated that air defense forces allegedly shot down another 52 drones that were heading toward the Russian capital.
According to him, the total number of drones destroyed overnight reached 137, of which more than 40 were shot down as they approached the city.

Despite reports of successful shoot-downs, the mayor of the Russian capital was forced to acknowledge the serious consequences of the nighttime attack on industry and the commercial sector.
Several drones managed to breach the air defense system and cause damage to a key energy facility in the region.
