More than 60 enemy attacks have been recorded on the front lines since the start of the day
According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as of 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 26, Russian troops had carried out 61 attacks on the positions of the Ukrainian Defense Forces. The invaders are most active in the Pokrovsk, Sloviansk, and Lyman sectors.
Border towns in the Sumy region (Korenok, Bachivsk, Yastrubshchyna, Tovstodubove, Ulanove, and Neskuchne) and the Chernihiv region (Senkyvka) came under targeted artillery fire from the occupiers. In addition, Russian aircraft carried out strikes on the areas around Tovstodubove and Ulanove.
In the Kupiansk sector, Russian troops made two attempts to advance in the areas of Podoliv and Kurylivka; both engagements are still ongoing.
On the Lyman front, the invaders made 12 attempts to advance in the areas of Shyikivka, Novoselivka, Drobysheve, Stavky, Lyman, Dibrova, and Ozerny. Two engagements are ongoing.
In the Sloviansk sector, Russian forces made 13 attempts to dislodge Ukrainian defenders in the areas of Kryva Luka, Zakitne, Piskunivka, Rai-Oleksandrivka, and Riznykivka. One engagement is ongoing.
In the Kostiantynivka sector, the Defense Forces successfully repelled eight enemy attacks near Kostiantynivka and Illinivka.
In the Pokrovsk sector, since the start of the day, the Russian army has attempted 14 times to dislodge defenders from their positions in the areas of Shevchenko, Novyi Donbas, Pavlivka, Kotlyne, Novohryshyne, Novooleksandrivka, and Udachne.
In the Huliaipole sector, Ukrainian defenders successfully repelled six enemy attacks in the areas of Ternuvate, Hirke, Staroukrainka, Tsvitkove, and Charivne.
In the Kramatorsk, Oleksandrivka, Orikhiv, and Prydniprovsk sectors, the invaders did not attempt any advances.
In other sectors of the front, the situation remains largely unchanged.

Over the past 24 hours, Russian troops carried out 1,029 strikes on 50 settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region. As a result of enemy attacks on Zaporizhzhia and the Zaporizhzhia district, one person was killed and 12 others were wounded.
