A new warning system for potential Russian strikes has been introduced in Zaporizhzhia
Zaporizhzhia has begun using an additional system to alert residents about potential targets of Russian strikes. This was announced by Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration.
According to him, starting Friday, law enforcement officers, together with the patrol police, have been using loudspeakers to warn residents of areas that may be at risk of enemy attacks.
Fedorov noted that they plan to continue this practice. In addition, if necessary, authorities may temporarily restrict traffic on streets where there is a risk of strikes.
Concrete shelters, purchased with the support of international donors, have also begun arriving in Zaporizhzhia. By the end of September, the city plans to install 100 such protective structures.
