Russia dropped aerial bombs on a residential area in Kramatorsk
On the evening of July 30, Russian troops attacked Kramatorsk in the Donetsk region, carrying out an airstrike on a residential neighborhood. According to preliminary reports, the occupiers used four FAB-250 aerial bombs. As a result of the attack, a residential building was virtually destroyed, and there are casualties among civilians.
This was reported by Oleksandr Goncharenko, head of the Kramatorsk City Military Administration. According to the head of the Military Administration, one of the strikes hit a high-rise residential building.
“Kramatorsk was hit by an airstrike. According to preliminary information, Russian troops dropped four FAB-250 bombs on a residential neighborhood in the city. One of the strikes hit a high-rise building. As of 10:00 p.m., two people are known to have been injured—a woman and a young girl,” the official said.
Following the attack, rescue workers, medical personnel, law enforcement officers, and other emergency services were on the scene. They were clearing the aftermath of the strike, providing assistance to the victims, and inspecting the damaged buildings. Information regarding the extent of the damage and whether anyone may be trapped under the rubble is still being verified, Goncharenko noted.
As a reminder, the Kerch Bridge in Crimea was closed twice due to explosions.
Also, following a drone attack, the Volgograd airport suspended operations, and fires broke out.
