Emergency power outages have been implemented in the Sumy region

On July 31, emergency power outage schedules were implemented in certain areas of the Sumy region for consumers in priority groups 1–10. Residents of the region were warned about possible power outages and urged to follow official announcements from utility providers.

Throughout the day, restrictions may be applied depending on the situation in the power grid, so residents of the region are advised to be prepared for temporary power outages.

“On instructions from NEC ‘Ukrenergo,’ emergency power outage schedules have been implemented for consumer groups 1–10 in part of the Sumy region,” the statement reads.

This decision was made due to damage to the power grid caused by constant Russian shelling.

It is important to note that your priority group for emergency power outages is displayed on the Sumyoblenergo JSC website in the “Power Outages” section, based on your address or personal account number.

In addition, you can find this information in your “E-Svitlo” personal account.

Important notice: The order of emergency power outages does not correspond to the order of hourly outages.

JSC “SUMYOBLENERGO” has once again reminded Ukrainians that there is no set time for the restoration of power supply during emergency power outages, as these are emergency situations.

Moreover, the planned outages are related to the consequences of attacks on energy facilities.

“We are continuing to restore power distribution! Work is ongoing 24/7. We sympathize with everyone who has been left without power by Russia,” the statement reads.

This was reported with reference to a statement from Sumyoblenergo JSC.

Ukrenergo clarified whether the outages will resume on July 31.

On the temporarily occupied Crimean Peninsula, local residents report prolonged power outages, fuel shortages, rising prices, and problems with the functioning of social infrastructure. According to them, the situation is particularly dire in the northern regions of the peninsula.
