There have already been more than 60 battles on the front lines, with the heaviest fighting taking place in three sectors

Since the start of the day, Russian troops have attacked the positions of Ukrainian defenders 62 times. The heaviest fighting is taking place in the Sloviansk, Pokrovsk, and Kostiantynivka sectors, where some of the clashes are still ongoing.

 

Since the start of the day, Russian occupation forces have attacked the positions of the Ukrainian Defense Forces 62 times. The enemy is conducting the most assaults in the Sloviansk, Pokrovsk, and Kostiantynivka sectors. This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The Russian army also continues to shell border areas of the Sumy region. Today, the following settlements came under fire: Korenok, Sopych, Myshutyne, Kucherivka, Bunyakine, Ryzhivka, Neskuchne, Tovstodubove, Volfyne, Ulanove, and Pustogorod.

In addition, the occupiers carried out airstrikes on the settlements of Zaliznyi Most and Bereza.

In the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk directions, the enemy carried out 33 attacks on Ukrainian positions and border settlements. Two of these were conducted using multiple-launch rocket systems.

In the Southern Slobozhansky direction, the Russians attempted four times to break through Ukrainian defenses in the Starytsia area and in the direction of Khatne.

In the Kupiansk sector, the enemy did not conduct any offensive operations during the day.

In the Lyman sector, Ukrainian forces repelled five attacks. The enemy attempted to advance toward Lyman and Ozernoye, as well as near Novoselivka and Zarichne, but was unsuccessful.

The situation is currently most tense in the Sloviansk sector. Here, Russian troops carried out 18 attacks in the areas of Zakitne, Kryva Luka, Riznykivka, and in the direction of Piskunivka and Rai-Oleksandrivka. As of now, five battles are still ongoing.

In the Kramatorsk sector, Ukrainian defenders successfully repelled one enemy attack aimed at advancing toward Tykhonivka.

In the Kostiantynivka sector, the occupiers launched 13 attacks. Fighting took place near Kostiantynivka, Ivanopil, Illinivka, Rusyn Yar, and in the direction of Novopavlivka. One engagement is still ongoing.

The situation remains no less tense in the Pokrovsk direction. Since the start of the day, Russian troops have attempted 16 times to dislodge Ukrainian forces from their positions in the areas of Dorozhne, Udachne, and in the direction of Toretsk, Kucherov Yar, Vilne, Novoye Shakhovoye, and Serhiivka. Two battles are still ongoing.

In the Oleksandrivka sector, the enemy launched a single attack on Ukrainian positions in the direction of Oleksandrohrad.

In the Huliaipole sector, the Defense Forces repelled four enemy assaults. The Russians attempted to advance toward Vozdvizhivka, Kosivtseve, and Tsvitkove.

Russian troops did not conduct any offensive operations today in the Orikhiv and Dnipro sectors.

The General Staff also noted that no significant changes in the operational situation have been recorded on other sections of the front at this time. There were no new attempts by the enemy to advance there.
