The Main Intelligence Directorate struck a Pantsir-S1, a boat, and a Russian drone station

On the night of July 30, operators from the Main Intelligence Directorate’s Unmanned Systems Department struck three Russian targets simultaneously in southern Ukraine and in occupied Crimea. Among them were a “Pantsir-S1” anti-aircraft missile and gun system, the “Sargan” patrol boat, and a “Forpost” ground-based drone control station.

According to the Main Intelligence Directorate, the “Pantsir-S1” was struck in the temporarily occupied territory of the Kherson region. Two other targets were destroyed or damaged in Crimea: the Project 1100M “Sargan” patrol boat in Kerch, and the “Forpost” ground-based UAV control station in Yevpatoria.

All three strikes took place on the night of July 30.

How Much Does Russian Military Equipment Cost?

Separately, the Main Intelligence Directorate provided an estimated value of the targets struck. The “Pantsir-S1” anti-aircraft missile and gun system costs about $15 million. The “Sargan” patrol boat is estimated to be worth approximately $6 million.

Thus, just two of the three targets struck have an estimated total value of about $21 million. The cost of the “Forpost” UAV control station was not specified in the GUR’s report. The intelligence agency emphasized that the operation was carried out by operators from the Department of Unmanned Systems of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. This was reported by the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.

On the night of August 1, drones launched a massive attack on the Russian city of Ufa in Bashkortostan, located approximately 1,500 kilometers from the Ukrainian border. Following the attack, a fire broke out at one of the oil refineries, and local residents reported a series of explosions.

On the night of August 1, the Ukrainian Defense Forces carried out a series of strikes against key military facilities of the Russian occupation forces in the temporarily occupied Crimea and in southern Ukraine. The strikes targeted warehouses, railway bridges, a maintenance base, a radio-electronic intelligence unit of the Russian Black Sea Fleet, and other military logistics facilities.
