Soldiers from the 151st Brigade destroyed the latest Russian "Malva" self-propelled gun
Operators of unmanned systems from the 151st Separate Mechanized Brigade successfully struck a modern Russian 2S43 “Malva” self-propelled artillery system. The strike was the result of precise work by Ukrainian drone operators.
The unit reported that the enemy self-propelled artillery system was detected and destroyed using unmanned aerial vehicles. The “Malva” is one of the newest Russian artillery systems being used by the occupiers on the front lines.
The Ukrainian military continues to actively use drones to detect and destroy enemy equipment, inflicting significant losses on the occupying forces.
This time, according to the military, the pursuit of the target took longer, but the enemy’s attempt to evade destruction proved unsuccessful.
After detecting the artillery system, Ukrainian drone crews tracked its movements, waiting for the right moment to strike. As a result, the Russian self-propelled gun was destroyed.
The 2S43 “Malva” is a Russian 152-mm self-propelled artillery system mounted on a BAZ-6010-027 “Voshchina” wheeled chassis with an 8×8 wheel configuration.
The project was first unveiled in 2019, and the first photographs of the prototype appeared in 2020.
Despite Russian claims about the mobility and high effectiveness of this artillery system, Ukrainian drone operators have once again demonstrated that modern aerial reconnaissance and strike drones are capable of detecting and destroying even the enemy’s latest weapons systems far from the front lines.

Earlier, officials from the State Bureau of Investigations announced that two servicemen from the medical company of the “Skelya” regiment were under suspicion of beating and unlawfully detaining two fellow soldiers in the Kirovohrad region. This was reported on July 28 by the SBI’s press service.
The command of the 425th Separate Assault Regiment “Skelya” stated that it is cooperating with the State Bureau of Investigations and supports the investigation into possible violations. The unit noted that it does not deny the existence of certain problems and is committed to addressing these issues.
