Zelenskyy said Russia is preparing new attacks on Ukraine and its ships
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported that during a meeting of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief’s Headquarters, he heard briefings from Ukrainian intelligence regarding Russia’s preparations for new strikes on Ukrainian territory and civilian vessels.
According to him, Ukraine is already preparing appropriate countermeasures.
The Headquarters also updated the list of the Ukrainian Defense Forces’ requirements for the supply of weapons and equipment from international partners. Zelenskyy noted that he will discuss these issues with the leaders of allied nations in the near future.
Separately, meeting participants reviewed the implementation of Ukraine’s plan for long-term sanctions against Russia. According to the president, the plan is proceeding on schedule, and the set goals are gradually being achieved.

As a reminder, Russian drones attacked the Chernihiv region, damaging a gas station and a resort.
Russia launched a ballistic missile strike on Kyiv on the afternoon of July 24, although such attacks usually take place at night. An expert believes this could have been an attempt to wear down Ukraine’s air defense, a show of force, or the result of a technical delay in the missile launch.
