Nearly 8,000 customers lost power following an attack in the Chernihiv region

In the Novhorod-Siverskyi District of Chernihiv Oblast, a power outage occurred after an energy facility was hit. Approximately 8,000 customers were left without power. Power company workers are already working to restore electricity.

 

A strike on a power facility was reported in the Novhorod-Siverskyi District of the Chernihiv Region. Due to the damage, some customers are without power. “As a result of the strike on the power facility, approximately 8,000 customers in the Novhorod-Siverskyi District are without power,” the company said in a statement.

Utility workers are already on site and are working to restore power. “Chernihivoblenergo” did not specify the details of the damage to the facility or the time when they plan to fully restore power to customers. Experts are urging residents to follow official announcements and remain calm while repair work is underway. This was reported by Chernihivoblenergo JSC.

As a reminder, Russian drones attacked the Chernihiv region, damaging a gas station and a resort.

The WOG gas station chain in Kyiv and the Kyiv region will temporarily suspend nighttime operations due to the increased risk of enemy shelling.
