A Russian strike on Kyiv destroyed a store and an office belonging to a Ukrainian cosmetics manufacturer
As a result of the Russian missile attack on Kyiv on the night of July 30, a Ukrainian cosmetics company lost its store and office. The buildings were completely destroyed during the shelling.
The company reported that the strike destroyed a store belonging to the ElfaShop skincare chain, as well as its office space.
Despite significant losses, the company stated that it will continue to operate and resume its activities after dealing with the aftermath of the Russian attack.
According to the company, the retail location was completely burned down as a result of the direct hit and the subsequent fire.
ElfaShop notes that the destruction of the facility is a heavy loss for the entire team, but the retailer plans to fully restore the damaged space.
“This is a great loss for our entire team. We feel pain, rage, and hatred toward the Russian terrorists who are destroying our cities, homes, and Ukrainian businesses. But most importantly—everyone is alive. And we won’t give up!” the statement reads.
In addition, the company’s office, located next to the store, sustained significant damage. None of the chain’s employees were injured.
Despite the destruction of one of its locations, the chain continues to operate as usual. Currently, 18 other ElfaShop retail locations in the capital remain open to customers.
Furthermore, the company’s official online store is accepting orders without any changes or delays.
