Russian forces attacked an energy facility in the Kharkiv region
Russian troops shelled an energy infrastructure facility in the Derhachi community of the Kharkiv district on Monday, March 30.
According to the State Emergency Service, as a result of the attack, which occurred around 1:50 p.m., more than 800 residents of the village of Ruska Lozova were left without power. Vyacheslav Zadorenko, head of the Derhachi City Military Administration, reported that specialists from “Kharkivoblenergo” are currently assessing the extent of the damage to determine the timeline for restoration work.
Additionally, Russian forces struck the village of Zolochiv in the Bohodukhiv district with a drone, hitting a two-story non-residential building. The strike caused a fire on the roof covering an area of 30 square meters, which State Emergency Service rescuers extinguished despite the threat of further shelling. According to preliminary data, there were no civilian casualties in either case. Thus, the aggressor continues to deliberately destroy the energy and civilian infrastructure of the region’s border areas.
As a reminder, the Russians attacked the Kyiv region with drones: damage has been reported.
Russia also attacked Ukraine with 164 drones; air defense forces destroyed 150 UAVs.
