Overnight, Russian drones damaged a warehouse in a community in the Kyiv region

On the night of October 2, Russian drones attacked the Chabanivska community in the Fastiv district. A warehouse building was damaged as a result of the strike.

 

The Chabanivska Village Council reported this on Telegram.

“Last night, the territory of the Chabanivska community came under enemy attack. A drone strike on a warehouse building was recorded,” the statement reads.

Relevant services are working at the scene. Specialists from the State Emergency Service, bomb disposal units, law enforcement officers, and the community’s utility services are involved in addressing the aftermath of the attack.

The area is being surveyed and the damage assessed. Information regarding damage to residential buildings is being verified.

The Kyiv City Express commuter train continues to run between the left and right banks of Kyiv along its full route and according to schedule, despite the nighttime attack on the capital.

In Kyiv’s Darnytskyi district, a 25-story residential building was damaged as a result of the enemy attack. Initial reports indicated that information regarding the casualties was being verified.

In Kyiv, public transportation has been temporarily restricted on certain bridges due to the aftermath of the nighttime enemy attacks. 

Over the past 24 hours, Russian occupation forces carried out 741 strikes on 51 settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region.
