On October 2, Russian troops continue to launch attack drones at Ukraine. Explosions were heard in the Kyiv region during an air raid alert, and air defense forces are operating in the region.
A yellow-level air raid alert was declared in several districts of the Kyiv region around 2:41 p.m. A few minutes later, the Ukrainian Air Force reported a jet drone heading north toward the region from the northern part of the Chernihiv region.
By 2:58 p.m., explosions were heard in the region. Local authorities clarified that they were related to air defense forces engaging enemy targets.
Later, the military warned of another jet-powered UAV moving in the same direction.
At this time, the Regional Military Administration has not provided information on the possible consequences of the Russian attack. If an air raid alert is declared in your area, you should proceed to a shelter as quickly as possible and remain there until the threat has passed.
