Voronezh was hit by a missile strike
A series of powerful explosions rocked the Russian city of Voronezh following a suspected missile strike.
According to preliminary reports, one of the main targets of the attack was the Voronezh-based “Sborka” semiconductor plant, which supplies the aggressor country’s defense-industrial complex.
Local residents and Russian Telegram channels reported several loud explosions that were heard in various parts of the city.
Eyewitnesses are also sharing information about possible strikes and the response of emergency services at the scenes. The extent of the destruction and damage at the industrial facility is currently being assessed.
Official authorities in the Voronezh region are so far refraining from providing detailed comments on the consequences of the incident, which occurred either overnight or this morning.
No information has been received so far regarding casualties among the civilian population or plant employees.
