Video: A Russian man climbed a pine tree carrying a Soviet flag and fell rapidly to the ground

A man in Russia attempted to climb to the top of a tall pine tree carrying a Soviet flag, but the tree’s structure could not withstand the weight. As a result, his “patriotic act” ended with him falling from a great height. The incident was captured on video and quickly went viral online.

According to eyewitnesses, the man decided to hoist the Soviet flag at the top of the tree, using it as a sort of symbolic “flagpole.” He climbed almost to the very top of the pine tree, but the thin branches were not designed to bear such a load and began to snap under his weight.

Just as he was trying to secure the flag, the top of the tree snapped suddenly, and the man lost his footing. The video then shows him falling rapidly downward, snapping dry branches as he goes. Witnesses to the incident reacted emotionally to what was happening, and the fall itself appeared sudden and uncontrolled. His condition after landing remains unclear, but the moment of the fall has already become the subject of active discussion on social media.

Internet users are pointing out the risks of such “stunts,” which often result in injuries, especially when climbing to great heights without any safety equipment. The video itself continues to spread online, racking up views and reactions, and the incident is already being called yet another example of dangerous amateur stunts.
