Over the past day, Russia has lost 790 invaders in the war against Ukraine, along with six air defence systems

The total combat losses of Russian forces since the start of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine — from 24 February 2022 to 3 March 2026 — amount to approximately 1,268,520 personnel. A further 790 occupying troops were eliminated in the past 24 hours.

This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook.

According to the updated data, Russia has also lost:

  • 11,718 (+5) tanks;
  • 24,131 (+20) armoured fighting vehicles;
  • 37,842 (+47) artillery systems;
  • 1,665 (+0) multiple launch rocket systems;
  • 1,319 (+6) air defence systems;
  • 435 (+0) aircraft;
  • 348 (+0) helicopters;
  • 154,698 (+1,529) operational-tactical UAVs;
  • 4,384 (+0) cruise missiles;
  • 30 (+1) ships/boats;
  • 2 (+0) submarines;
  • 80,992 (+235) units of automotive equipment and fuel tankers;
  • 4,076 (+0) units of special equipment.

The General Staff noted that the figures are being clarified.

Ukrainian forces successfully repelled enemy attacks near the village of Zlahoda (formerly Pershotravneve) in the Pokrovsk settlement community, as well as near the villages of Novomykolaivka, Stepove and Ternove in the Velykomykhailivka rural community of Synelnykove district, Dnipropetrovsk region. Successful actions also took place near the village of Novohryhorivka in the Huliaipole urban community of Polohy district, Zaporizhzhia region.

The Defence Forces struck a space communications centre and enemy air defence facilities.

It was also reported that powerful explosions were heard at the Belbek airfield in Crimea.

In addition, drones attacked the Ilsky oil refinery and Sevastopol.
