A journalist revealed who is working to extend the life of the aging Putin and how
Russian dictator Vladimir Putin is seeking to extend his life as long as possible through experimental medical technologies and hopes to become the first patient to receive a transplant of artificially grown organs.
At the Kremlin’s behest, a large-scale scientific program on bioprinting of living tissues and xenotransplantation has been launched in Russia.
The main goal of this research is to find methods for radically rejuvenating and replacing the dictator’s worn-out organs, as he is terrified of aging.
Investigative journalists revealed the launch of this secret project after a detailed analysis of the financial flows of Russia’s military and political leadership.
Key positions in the oversight of this program have been filled by individuals closest to the dictator. They have convinced the Kremlin leader that biological immortality is within reach in the coming years.
“Who is working on extending Putin’s life and how? Who? First and foremost, it is his daughter Maria Vorontsova, who is indeed a doctor, but now, as a doctor, she is overseeing—judging by all accounts—an area of great importance to Putin himself. She oversees genetics. Apparently, Putin is concerned about hereditary diseases and how to prevent them from being passed on,” noted investigative journalist Andrei Zakharov.
In addition to the Kremlin leader’s daughter, the architect and ideologist of this campaign is oligarch Yuri Kovalchuk, along with his brother Mikhail, who heads the Kurchatov Institute.
It is this inner circle that has instilled in Putin the belief that modern science is capable of completely rejuvenating his body. Behind closed doors, the dictator was promised a complete replacement of his body’s vital systems.
“The idea that Putin and others in his Politburo are clearly hoping for is not just to [use] the methods of traditional medicine that we all have now, but to replace the heart, the liver, so to speak. That’s roughly how, I think, Kovalchuk sold this whole program to Putin. ‘We’ll print you a new heart, a new liver,’ Vladimir Vladimirovich,” Zakharov explained.
The Russian leader’s interest in this topic is also confirmed by his international contacts.
During talks with Chinese leader Xi Jinping in September 2025, a microphone that was accidentally left on captured the leaders’ conversation about biotechnology. At that time, the interpreter clearly conveyed the Russian leader’s thoughts.
“With the development of biotechnology, human organs can be transplanted indefinitely, and people can live younger and younger, and even achieve immortality,” the interpreter quoted the Russian dictator as saying.
Investigative journalist Andriy Zakharov spoke about this in an interview with Radio NV.
