The Ukrainian Armed Forces are destroying Russian drones and laying mines along the occupiers' routes in the Kharkiv region

On the Kharkiv front, soldiers of the 3rd Separate Heavy Mechanized “Iron” Brigade are daily destroying Russian drones, clearing logistics routes of mines, and setting up mine traps for the occupiers.

The military refers to the situation in the skies over the Kharkiv region as a “sky mowing, and the fighting on the ground as a “combat harvest.”

A battery of interceptors from the anti-aircraft missile division is responsible for defending Ukrainian positions; its crews work around the clock to detect and destroy enemy drones.

Among the targets eliminated are “Molniya” strike and reconnaissance drones, as well as VT-40 FPV drones, which Russian troops use not only for attacks but also for remotely mining the terrain.

According to military officials, it is precisely these drones that the occupiers use to regularly lay mines on roads and logistics routes used by Ukrainian defenders.

Due to the active remote mining, the workload of the “Gatilo” unmanned systems battalion has increased significantly.

Strike drone operators use precision drops to neutralize explosive devices that the Russians leave on access roads to positions and supply routes.

After clearing the routes, Ukrainian sappers and drone operators set up their own minefields to hinder the movement of Russian troops.

“We’re setting our own mine ‘traps’ for the Muscovites. One of them went off near the village of Krasne Pershe—and there’s one less occupier,” the Iron Brigade reported.

The 3rd Separate Heavy Mechanized “Iron” Brigade provided details on the units’ operations.

As a reminder, operators from the 7th Rapid Response Corps of the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ Airborne Assault Troops launched strikes using Fire Point drones against a number of military targets belonging to the Russian occupiers on the outskirts of the temporarily occupied city of Donetsk. Among the targets struck were a workshop for assembling and preparing FPV drones, as well as warehouses containing the enemy’s ground-based robotic systems.
