Biden to Publish Memoir on His Presidency and Aid to Ukraine

Former U.S. President Joe Biden has announced the release of a memoir in which he will recount his time in the White House from 2021 to 2025.

In his memoir, the politician plans to recount key events of his presidential term, including support for Ukraine following the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion and the decisions made by the U.S. administration during that period.

“I’ve written a book about my time as president. It’s called *Promise Me, America*,” Biden said.

The book is reportedly set to go on sale on November 17, 2026, but it is already available for pre-order.

According to Biden, the memoir addresses “the challenges the country faced.”

“About the decisions I made and why I did things the way I did: leading the country through the COVID-19 pandemic, rebuilding our economy, defending democracy after the January 6 attack (the 2021 storming of the Capitol—ed.), ending America’s longest war in Afghanistan, strengthening NATO, and helping Ukraine,” the former president said.

In addition, the former U.S. leader will explain why he initially decided to run for a second term and later withdrew his candidacy from the race.

He announced this on social media.

Biden has filed a lawsuit against the U.S. Department of Justice over recordings of private interviews.

Donald Trump claimed that the large-scale financial aid to Ukraine during Joe Biden’s tenure was allegedly one of the reasons why the war is still ongoing. He also sharply criticized NATO allies, particularly European countries, and once again questioned the effectiveness of their support for the U.S. in international conflicts.

Hunter Biden, the son of former U.S. President Joe Biden, has left the United States due to debts totaling $17 million, the Daily Mail reports, citing documents from his attorney. According to the documents, Biden resides abroad, is considered “insolvent,” and is unable to pay his legal bills, some of which exceed $50,000.
