At least 16 U.S. military bases in the Middle East have been damaged as a result of Iranian strikes.

CNN reports this, citing its own investigation.

According to journalists’ estimates, this involves most U.S. facilities in the region. At some bases, the damage is so extensive that they are temporarily unusable.

In particular, the large military hub in Kuwait—Camp Burling—has been significantly damaged and is currently barely operational due to infrastructure damage.

There are also reports of losses of expensive equipment, including military aircraft, satellite communication systems, and air defense radars.

According to sources, radar systems are among the most valuable and limited resources of U.S. forces in the region.

The article notes that one reason for the precision of the strikes may be Iran’s use of high-quality satellite data.

Iran has again restricted ship traffic through the Strait of Hormuz following the conflict with the U.S. Tehran claims this is a response to Washington’s actions.

Trump stated that the U.S. wants to obtain Iranian uranium by any means necessary.
