Beauty Kabukie Apedoe appointed CEO of Inter Tourism Expo Accra in Ghana
In Accra, Ghana, the board of Inter Tourism Expo Accra (INTTA) has appointed Beauty Kabukie Apedoe as the organization’s new chief executive officer. This was reported by MyJoyOnline.
INTTA stated that the appointment is part of efforts to strengthen corporate governance and expand the organization’s role in promoting tourism, investment, trade, business events, and sustainable economic development. Apedoe has experience in tourism and hospitality, public relations, strategic communications, event organization, entrepreneurship, programme management, sustainable development promotion, and stakeholder engagement.
Education and experience
Apedoe earned a bachelor’s degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration. During the institution’s 23rd graduation ceremony, she was recognized as the best graduating student of the 2023 cohort. She is also studying for a bachelor’s degree in law, focusing on international trade, business, and commercial law.

Previously, Apedoe gained professional experience at the Ghana Export Promotion Authority, including in public relations, institutional communications, and stakeholder engagement. Her experience also includes public speaking, content development, corporate and event communications, as well as business relationship management.
Responsibilities in the role
INTTA expects that her knowledge of the MICE sector — business meetings, incentive travel, conferences, and exhibitions — will help strengthen the Expo’s role as a platform for business partnerships, investment attraction, and tourism development. Her responsibilities will include increasing the organization’s visibility, expanding strategic partnerships, and engaging with tourism businesses, investors, and international partners.
Inter Tourism Expo Accra Chairman Emmanuel Treku congratulated Apedoe on her appointment and said that her education, experience in tourism and communications, entrepreneurial background, legal studies, and work in sustainable development provide a strong foundation for the new role.
