Farmers in the Netherlands have spoken out against environmental restrictions

At the protest, demands were made to review agricultural policy. In particular, the signs read “Stop this policy, give farmers back their freedom” and “With a government like this, our economy is headed for collapse.” Another prominent symbol of the protest was upside-down Dutch flags. Authorities have not yet reached a final decision
Although the issue of revoking permits sparked this large-scale protest, no final decision has yet been made regarding the five poultry farms. The protest ended amid a fatal traffic accident

The reason was a fatal traffic accident that occurred on Friday morning on the A59 highway near Gesa. According to preliminary reports, two people were killed and six others were injured.
The accident occurred in a traffic jam caused by tractors traveling on the highway. Following the tragedy, the protest organizers urged farmers not to use this road on their way home. Police are currently investigating the circumstances of the accident. Law enforcement officials must determine exactly how the accident occurred and what role the traffic conditions played in it.
