City of David Foundation provides aid to hospital and prison in Ghana

The City of David Foundation provided humanitarian aid to Koforidua Central Hospital and Koforidua Prison in Ghana. The organization is led by its founder and CEO, David Sarpong, known as Rendal.

Assistance for the hospital

Representatives of the foundation visited Koforidua Central Hospital and delivered hygiene products, bottled water, and financial assistance to support the institution and its patients. The head of the hospital administration, who accepted the donation on behalf of the institution, thanked David Sarpong and the foundation. According to him, the assistance will support the hospital's needs and its patient care work.

Funds for prisoners

The foundation's team also visited Koforidua Prison, where it provided 10,000 Ghanaian cedis to settle outstanding medical service debts owed by some prisoners. The duty officer accepted the donation on behalf of the prison. He thanked the foundation for supporting the well-being of prisoners and stressed that the assistance is important for people who need medical care but have difficulties paying hospital bills.

As MyJoyOnline reports, the donations are part of the City of David Foundation's activities in community development, healthcare support, and humanitarian aid.
