HIDAH Foundation completes free two-day skills development programme in Ghana

In the East Legon area of Ghana, the HIDAH Humanitarian Foundation has completed a free two-day skills development programme for young aspiring leaders and entrepreneurs. According to MyJoyOnline, the event was held at MAJD International School with the support of the school and Vaal Real Estate.

The programme was initiated by the foundation's founder, Mujahida Ibrahim Prah. According to her, the initiative aimed to provide participants with practical skills, knowledge, confidence, leadership abilities and tools for the future. The programme included training, practical sessions, idea sharing, questions for trainers and networking.

Leadership and personal development

Former Ghanaian Information Minister Fatimatu Abubakar led a session on leadership and personal development. She stressed that leadership begins with the ability to manage oneself, rather than with a position or title. Abubakar also spoke about the importance of self-awareness, discipline, confidence and responsibility, urging participants to keep learning and develop their character alongside technical skills.

Technology, entrepreneurship and creative skills

Aisha Mohammed Salia presented artificial intelligence tools for productivity and innovation. Ibrahim Mohammed Halibu led a practical session on turning a skill into one's own business, while public speaking coach and founder of Public Speaking Factory Ibrahim Mustafa spoke about confident leadership.

Suweiba Awudu Bawa of Suhud Event & Planning taught participants event styling and creative decoration. Osama Mansour Ali devoted his session to the transition from personal potential to leadership, while Hajia Safia Murtala spoke about leadership and entrepreneurship. The foundation thanked the trainers, volunteers, participants, partners and supporters who contributed to holding the programme.
