Ghana’s ambassador to Serbia hosts meeting of African diplomats in Belgrade — MyJoyOnline
Ghana’s ambassador to Serbia, Kweisi Agwoi, hosted the September meeting of the Group of African Ambassadors working in Serbia. The event took place in 2026 at the residence of Ghana’s diplomatic mission in Belgrade, MyJoyOnline reports.
Coordination of diplomatic missions
African ambassadors and other diplomatic representatives accredited to Serbia took part in the meeting. They discussed issues of common interest to the African diplomatic community.
Regular meetings give diplomatic missions an opportunity to exchange views on developments concerning the African continent, as well as to seek opportunities for closer cooperation. The ambassadors also coordinate their contacts and strengthen professional ties between the African countries represented in Serbia.

Ghanaian cuisine after the meeting
After the official part, Kweisi Agwoi treated his colleagues to a selection of Ghanaian dishes. The diplomats had an opportunity to taste traditional Ghanaian cuisine and talk in an informal setting.
The presentation of the dishes became part of the cultural exchange: Ghana introduced elements of its culinary heritage to other African diplomats. The meeting combined consultations between missions with informal communication among representatives of African countries in Belgrade.
