Global Village in Dubai warns of fake websites with VIP packages — The National

The Global Village entertainment and cultural complex in Dubai, UAE, has warned visitors about fake websites and sellers offering VIP packages ahead of the new season. The complex will open on October 14, and the season will run until May.

Sales only through the official website

As The National reports, Dubai Police also warned residents about fraudulent websites and social media accounts distributing offers of supposedly official packages. Global Village said VIP packages can only be purchased on the official Coca-Cola Arena website. No other website, seller, or private individual is authorized to sell these packages.

The complex emphasized that purchasing packages from unauthorized sellers may result in fraud, and such packages may be cancelled or deactivated in accordance with the terms of sale. Fraudsters may copy websites and social media profiles to create the impression of official pages and obtain buyers’ money or personal data.
