Bahrain’s parliamentary speaker assesses Saudi Arabia’s role — Asharq Al-Awsat
In Bahrain, Speaker of the Council of Representatives Ahmed bin Salman Al-Musallam stated that Saudi Arabia has been and will remain a key pillar of regional security and stability. He also called the kingdom a voice of reason in international forums and a leader in humanitarian aid worldwide, Asharq Al-Awsat reports.
Statement for National Day
On the occasion of Saudi Arabia’s National Day, Al-Musallam noted the long history of relations between Bahrain and Saudi Arabia, their fraternal ties, the development of cooperation, and the shared destiny of the two countries.
According to him, Bahrain’s Council of Representatives is committed to strengthening parliamentary cooperation with the Saudi Shura Council. It also intends to continue coordination at regional and international parliamentary forums in the interests of both states and in support of the Gulf Cooperation Council.

Assessment of Vision 2030
Al-Musallam highly praised Saudi Arabia’s development in various fields under the Saudi Vision 2030 program. In his view, the kingdom has become a global model of growth, economic transformation, youth empowerment, investment in human capital, and the implementation of large-scale projects.
The speaker of Bahrain’s Council of Representatives also said that he is proud of Saudi Arabia’s role in supporting the interests of the Gulf states, Arab and Islamic countries, as well as international and humanitarian issues.
