China has ordered Russia not to even think about launching a nuclear strike against Ukraine – Zelenskyy

For the first time, Beijing has issued a very stern and unequivocal warning to Russia against any thoughts or statements regarding the possible use of nuclear weapons in response to strikes by the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy made this statement to reporters following the NATO summit in Ankara.

The topic of China’s influence and its role in a potential end to the war became one of the key issues during the Ukrainian president’s talks with Donald Trump, as well as in discussions with European leaders. Zelenskyy asked that the details of this part of the conversation remain between him and Trump. According to the president, European partners reported on their latest contacts with the Chinese side, during which Beijing demonstrated a noticeably tougher stance toward Moscow’s actions than it had previously.

Russian dictator Vladimir Putin has once again stepped up his nuclear threats due to the occupying army’s lack of success on the front lines. In particular, in May, the Russian Defense Ministry reported the delivery of nuclear munitions to field depots in Belarus during military exercises. According to Daniel Salisbury of the International Institute for Strategic Studies, the Kremlin is manipulating nuclear risks to put pressure on NATO countries and Ukraine.

Russia’s Foreign Intelligence Service has launched another wave of disinformation, accusing Western countries of secretly transferring nuclear components to Kyiv

As a reminder, Zelenskyy has called for Ukraine to be given back its nuclear weapons if it is not admitted to NATO.

The U.S. has also begun discussing the possibility of returning nuclear weapons to Ukraine.
