China’s Xianning plans 10 billion yuan service cluster — ECNS
Xianning, a city in Hubei province in central China, plans to develop a 10 billion yuan, or about $1.49 billion, modern services cluster in Xian’an District by 2030. According to ECNS, local authorities announced the plans.
Demonstration zone
Construction of a provincial-level demonstration zone for modern services began in 2009. Its planned area is 4.8 square kilometers.

After several years of development, five specialized markets were opened in the area. They cover household goods, small commodities, agricultural products, building and home improvement materials, as well as tea. These markets have attracted more than 1,400 traders.
Investments in logistics
Li Tianming, secretary of the Party committee and director of the administrative committee of the Xian’an Commercial and Logistics Zone, said total investment in the zone’s five logistics parks will exceed 2 billion yuan during 2026–2027.
