Chinese tech maker Dreame to reward employees with a trip to Antarctica
Dreame Technology, based in Suzhou, Jiangsu province, announced an extraordinary reward scheme for its employees. Every staff member will receive one gram of gold, and the top ten performers will be awarded a trip to Antarctica.

The company’s founder and CEO, Yu Hao, shared the news on WeChat. According to Hongxin News estimates, with a workforce of 18,500 employees, the total value of the gold gifts will be approximately 26 million yuan ($3.7 million). Founded in 2017, Dreame has maintained an annual growth rate of over 100%. IDC data shows that in January-September 2025, Dreame ranked third globally in the robot vacuum market with a 12.4% share.
This reward highlights Dreame’s market leadership and its commitment to motivating employees to sustain the company’s rapid growth.
