Lavrov accused the U.S. of carrying out strikes against Russia and demanded an explanation

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov stated that Moscow allegedly has information about the United States’ direct involvement in strikes on Russian territory. The Kremlin is awaiting an explanation from Washington regarding these allegations.

At the same time, Lavrov issued yet another threat against Ukraine.

According to Lavrov, Russia does not plan to demand an end to U.S. support for Kyiv as a precondition for negotiations.

“We do not issue ultimatums,” the Russian minister added.

He also confirmed that Moscow had sent the U.S. State Department a list of questions regarding the supply of weapons, intelligence data, and Washington’s possible involvement in strikes on Russian territory on Ukraine’s side, and is now awaiting a response.

In addition, Lavrov threatened that Russia would adopt a tougher stance to “destroy everything that fuels Kyiv’s military machine from the West.”

“We are already doing this, and they are already beginning to groan. And it is no coincidence that more and more voices from various parts of our shared space are calling for an immediate halt. That will not happen,” the Russian foreign minister stated cynically.

Moreover, he added that a ceasefire along the line of contact is unacceptable to Russia.

Lavrov stated that Russia has no intention of stopping the war.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that an important moment in the war is now unfolding for Ukraine. According to him, Russia no longer has the upper hand on the battlefield, and the main tool remaining to Vladimir Putin is ballistic weapons.
