Le Pen stated that France would no longer be able to provide financial assistance to Ukraine

Marine Le Pen, leader of the “National Rally,” stated that France cannot continue to provide financial assistance to Ukraine. The politician, who is a candidate for the French presidency, made this statement regarding support for Kyiv.

Regarding budgetary issues, Marine Le Pen emphasized the need to “make a choice,” stating that her decisions would not be the same as before. “I am ready to make choices,” she assured, citing the situation in Ukraine as an example. Le Pen believes that “we cannot” continue to provide financial support to that country under the current circumstances.

“This is not an act of hostility toward Ukraine. We can continue to train their soldiers and their army, and continue to provide them with defense equipment, but financially we can no longer do so; because we cannot, on the one hand, say that there isn’t a single euro for pension indexation, and on the other, that there are billions to contribute to the European budget,” said the leader of the National Rally party, according to tf1info.
