PTI leaders again barred from meeting Imran Khan — Dawn
Leaders of Pakistan’s PTI party were not allowed to meet its founder, former Prime Minister Imran Khan, at Adiala Jail on Thursday. Dawn reported.
List of PTI representatives
The party submitted to the prison administration a list of six leaders for whom it requested a meeting with Khan. It included Sameul Yaqoob, Chaudhry Sajid Hussain, Malik Tariq Rikhi, Ahtisham Ali Kayani, Muhammad Irfan and Parveen Rehmani.
Lawyer Awais Younas Chaudhry told Dawn that all party representatives arrived at the prison at 14:00, the time set for the meeting. They were told they would be informed about it.

Waiting until 16:30
According to Chaudhry, the deadline for the meeting had been set at 16:00. PTI representatives waited until 16:30, hoping they would be invited for the visit, but eventually left without meeting Khan.
The lawyer called the refusal to allow the meeting regrettable and said it should not have been permitted in light of an order by the Islamabad High Court. According to Dawn, the court determined that the former prime minister’s family members and lawyers could meet him on Tuesdays, while party leaders could do so on Thursdays.
