UAE leaders and Bahrain’s King Hamad hold talks in Dubai
UAE President Sheikh Mohammed met with Bahrain’s King Hamad in Dubai, UAE, on Saturday. UAE Vice President and Ruler of Dubai Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid also took part in the talks.
Cooperation between the two states
The sides discussed the development of bilateral cooperation and opportunities to further strengthen the partnership in line with shared development priorities and the interests of both countries. The leaders emphasized the deep historical ties between the two states and their citizens. They also reaffirmed their commitment to mutual prosperity and the well-being of the populations of both countries.

Regional issues
As The National reports, the sides also exchanged views on regional and international issues during the meeting. Senior UAE officials attended the talks, including Dubai Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Defence Minister Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed, as well as UAE Presidential Adviser Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad. Bahrain was represented by National Security Adviser, Secretary-General of the Supreme Defence Council and Royal Guard Commander Lieutenant General Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
