Mexico News Daily launches weekly section about Mexico City
Mexican outlet Mexico News Daily is launching the weekly MND Local CDMX section with more detailed news, event information and trends in Mexico City, Mexico. The new format will complement the regular daily coverage of events in the city.
For residents and visitors
The weekly materials are intended for people who already live in Mexico City, are planning to move to the city, or want to learn more about it before an upcoming trip. The editorial team said it aims to give the audience a deeper understanding of the city and help them better plan their time there.
MND Local CDMX promises to cover new openings, important events to consider when planning, as well as trends shaping the city. The section is also intended to introduce readers to new people, places and other interesting opportunities for visiting Mexico City.

Not a replacement for event calendars
Mexico News Daily stressed that MND Local CDMX is not intended for quickly finding events for the next day. The section will not replace local event calendars and social media pages.
According to the outlet, the first edition of MND Local CDMX was dedicated to earthquake drills, K-pop and the El Grito celebration in Mexico City. Mexico News Daily CEO Travis Bembenek noted that he first visited the city more than 30 years ago and has recently regularly heard positive feedback from people who visited it for the first time.
