German Defense Minister is thrilled by Moscow in flames

German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius expressed deep admiration for Ukraine’s ability to effectively extend combat operations into the territory of the aggressor state and called on international partners to learn from this unique experience in waging modern warfare. He made these remarks during the opening of the 35th meeting of the Contact Group on Ukraine’s Defense in the “Ramstein” format, which took place in Brussels.

The German official addressed his Ukrainian counterpart, Mykhailo Fedorov, and emphasized that while the Russian offensive is finally faltering, Ukrainian troops are successfully maintaining the initiative and momentum on the battlefield.

According to the minister, pushing the war back to where it originated is the result of systematic efforts, in which the consistent expansion of capabilities and the widespread digital deployment of unmanned systems played a key role. Pistorius separately noted the successes of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in creating specialized drone assault regiments and building up medium-range strike capabilities, which has significantly accelerated reconnaissance and data-driven decision-making processes.

The head of Germany’s defense ministry also recalled his visit last month to command posts near Zaporizhzhia and Dnipro, where he personally familiarized himself with innovative methods of conducting operations. Boris Pistorius emphasized that this technological approach will be decisive for global security in many respects, which is why allies must learn from Ukraine. He concluded that the strategic partnership between Germany and Ukraine has long since ceased to be a one-way street, evolving into a full-fledged bilateral exchange of military expertise.

A massive drone attack on Moscow sparked a wave of outrage and division across Russian regions.

In Balashikha, near Moscow, local residents are reporting unusual effects of the rain—black, oily stains with a burning smell are left on clothing, cars, and other surfaces.

In five cities in the Moscow region, 16 people sustained injuries of varying severity as a result of falling debris and the chaotic response of Russian air defenses during the drone attack.

The Russian State Duma responded to the record-breaking attack on Moscow.

Madyar pointed out the inscription on the drones that attacked the Moscow Oil Refinery for the third time.
