Moldova has imposed sanctions on Russian propagandists and cultural figures
Moldova has expanded its sanctions list targeting Russian citizens to include six media and cultural figures who support the Kremlin’s policies.

The relevant order was signed by Moldovan Foreign Minister Mihai Popșoi.
The sanctions list includes TV hosts, journalists, and cultural figures whom the document describes as disseminators of disinformation and war propaganda, as well as supporters of the Russian army in the war against Ukraine.
Among them are Dmitry Guberniev, Ekaterina Andreeva, Maria Sittel, Pavel Zarubin, Roman Chumakov, and Sergey Polunin.
As a reminder, Moldova is implementing a state of heightened readiness in the energy sector due to the situation in the Middle East.
Also, following the Russian Federation’s attack, technical oils in the Dniester River have reached Moldova.
